Features: "National Geographic Kids Encyclopedia" (NATIONALGEOGRAPHIC–Windows on Literacy) is a children's English reading series introduced by our press, consisting of three levels: Emergent (beginner), Early (intermediate), and Fluent (advanced). Each level primarily includes 24 student books, 24 (workbooks), 1 "Assessment Handbook," 1 "Parent Guide," and 25 CDs. Additional supplementary materials include 2 postcards, 60 vocabulary cards, 1 poster, and a large number of puzzles. These three sets cover multiple subjects such as physical science, earth & space science, life science, technology & crafts, geography, history, culture, and economics. While cultivating children's comprehensive language skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing), they also emphasize the accumulation of natural, social encyclopedic knowledge, life (common sense), and the development of children's communication and survival abilities. The student books feature large images paired with short sentences, allowing children to extract a wealth of information from the visuals, making it easier to understand the text. Each book introduces 7-10 thematic words and 5-8 high-frequency words through specially designed sentence structures, facilitating convenient memorization and enhancing learning interest. The "What We Can Learn" section on the inside back cover outlines the key learning points of the book, while the "Discussion Questions" on the back cover further extend the content. The workbooks primarily train children's listening, speaking, reading, and hands-on skills through activities such as songs, crafts, and answering questions. The vocabulary lists and text translations at the end of each workbook supplement the student books. Each level of the workbook includes a 4-page mini-test that can be detached for separate use, while the Emergent and Early levels also include 2 sticker sheets. The "Assessment Handbook" includes four achievement tests (Achievement Test) and one final test (Final Test). Children who pass the final test are eligible to receive a certificate jointly issued by the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press and National Geographic. Each "Parent Guide" is a 24-book companion for parents, providing a scientific, comprehensive, and detailed guide to helping parents support their children's learning. It assists parents in targeted guidance and includes carefully designed parent-child interactive activities, allowing parents and children to learn in a relaxed and lively atmosphere, fully embodying the philosophy of "learning through play." The book reflects a friendly and approachable style in both content and form. The guidance content is practical, while the format is engaging and lively. This set is the Emergent level, and the package includes: 24 encyclopedia books, 24 workbooks, 1 assessment handbook, 1 parent guide, 25 CDs, 60 vocabulary cards, 1 poster, 2 exquisite postcards, 1 certificate frame, 1 elegant stationery box, 1 set of colored pencils, and 1 set of educational 3D puzzles.
