Features: This book is a research project funded by the Senior Research Fund of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. China is a large country and also a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council. China has participated in many international treaties concerning national criminal law issues. This has put forward new requirements for China's criminal legislation, namely adopting relevant provisions of international criminal law in China's criminal legislation, so that Chinese courts have appropriate legal frameworks when exercising criminal jurisdiction over international criminal cases. This is an important task for China's criminal legislation. At the same time, with China's entry into the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the deepening of reform and opening-up, China's connections with the international community have become increasingly frequent. Under these circumstances, the task of combating international crimes and transnational crimes in China will undoubtedly increase. Therefore, whether from the perspective of fulfilling the obligations of international treaties or adapting to the needs of joining the WTO and opening up, strengthening research on international criminal law issues is of great practical significance for China. This book also discusses the nature of international criminal law, the dual crime principle in extradition, and the origin and development of the dual administrative and judicial review system from new perspectives. This book is the first new work to systematically study international criminal law issues from a new system and with many new viewpoints.
