Features: China is an ancient civilization with a long history, and its culture and art are profound and splendid. National musical instruments, a collection of the finest wisdom of the Chinese people over 5,000 years, stand out uniquely in the world of art. The second category is string instruments with bows, which play a significant role in traditional Chinese music. In recent years, due to their growing popularity among the public, they have been favored by more people. This book selects some exercises from levels 1 to 10 of the national erhu examination, covering the basic techniques commonly used in erhu playing. In addition to pointing out the key practice requirements for each exercise, the book also provides hints about the artistic intent of the pieces. To facilitate the learning of erhu enthusiasts, a companion audiovisual disc has been released by Shanghai Literature and Art Audiovisual Publishing House, featuring recordings of all the pieces in the book for reference. This disc is divided into two parts: Disc A is a VCD demonstrating the performances, while Disc B is a CD. The content of Disc B is divided into two sections:
1. From 1 to 10 - "Follow Me to Learn": This section guides you to practice in sync, helping you overcome difficulties in pitch and rhythm during self-practice.
2. From 11 to 30 - "Karaoke": This section provides accompaniment music for all the pieces in the book, with a "band" to accompany your practice. This enhances the fun of practice, turns it into a playful learning experience, and simultaneously helps you develop the ability to collaborate with an orchestra.
