Huang Zhongru's Artistic Introduction: Born in Guangzhou in 1947. In 1963, his oil painting "A Bountiful Field" won the second prize in the Guangzhou Middle School Student Art Exhibition. In 1964, his oil painting "Stamp Collecting" participated in the overseas children's art exhibition. From 1975 to 1985, his works were continuously selected for exhibitions in Guangdong Province, Guangzhou, or nationwide. He was introduced in newspapers and magazines more than ten times. In 1980, his oil painting "The Same Generation" won the first prize in the Guangdong Province exhibition. The article was featured in the "Yangcheng Evening News." He became a member of the Guangdong Branch of the China Artists Association and the Guangdong Oil Painting Association. In 1982, his oil painting "Changes Around Us" won the excellence prize in the Guangzhou Art Exhibition and was selected for the nationwide "Scenery of Overseas Chinese Villages" art exhibition. The "Guangzhou Daily" published a commentary on his work. In 1983, he studied at the Oil Painting Department's advanced training class of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. In January 1986, he went to the United States to study and was admitted as a master's student in the Fine Arts Department of the San Francisco Art Institute. In December 1988, he graduated from the institute with a master's degree in fine arts. In 1989, he moved to Canada to reunite with his family. His works have been exhibited in public and commercial galleries in the United States and Canada, purchased by governments, universities, companies, and private collectors. In 1995, his oil painting "Sounds from Afar" won the best award in the Wildlife Art Exhibition of Saskatchewan, Canada. In 1996, he painted a large-scale indoor mural with an Indian theme for the Alberta Provincial Museum. In 2001, his oil painting "Children of the Grasslands" won the first prize in the Nimrod Art Competition in Canada. In January 2003, his oil painting "Shining Sea" was featured in the Canadian painter column of the "International Artists" magazine. In April, his oil painting "Ancient Mystery" received an commendation certificate from the Washington Conference of the American Portrait Society. In September, his oil painting "Hello" won the excellence prize in the International Competition of the National Park Art in the United States. He currently resides in two cities, Vancouver and Regina, Canada, as a professional painter and art teacher.
