Features: My friend Hugh Prather once wrote, "In this life, there must be more than just being dragged along kicking and screaming." I believe that. Indeed, there is another path through life, but it requires us to be willing to adjust our goals. More and more people in every corner of the world believe we are destroying ourselves and the world we depend on. It seems we lack the ability to change the world, change others, or even change ourselves. Many people, including myself, have experienced the agony of trying to free themselves from frustration, anxiety, pain, and illness but failing in the effort. Yet even so, we still cling tightly to our old systems of beliefs. How to walk through life on a better path has become a burgeoning research project today. This exploration brings new ideas and shifts in consciousness, like a spiritual flood sweeping the earth. It pushes us to turn our gaze inward, exploring our inner universe, and we discover that harmony and "oneness" have long existed within our inner world. When we turn our attention inward, we also hear an inner, spontaneous voice, which often serves as our reliable guide. When our senses quiet down, we hear the voice from the depths of our hearts and attach ourselves to it, and we notice that true healing and growth occur in this way. In this silence, conflicts of character no longer capture our attention, and we experience the peaceful joy of life. The world appears absurd to us because we always view it with the wrong mindset. To see a new world, we must first change our way of thinking, let the past completely move on from us, expand our perception of the "present moment," and thereby dissolve the fears in our minds. This transformed way of thinking will make us realize that we are not isolated; we are all interconnected forever. There are many effective ways to help us achieve self-transformation and experience the peaceful inner world. This little book is written for beginners, for those who hope to experience self-transformation and fill their lives with giving and love, far from selfishness and fear. Simply put, this book tells the story of achieving self-fulfillment through giving. The language and images in this book represent the daily lives we are all experiencing, and the steps of self-transformation can be applied every day. It will help us remove the obstacles that prevent us from feeling love and perceiving reality, so that we can experience the miracles and greatness of love in life. As advocated in the book "A Course in Miracles," we can have only one goal: to have inner peace, and the only way to achieve this goal is to learn to forgive. When we truly listen to the voice of our inner guide, we can achieve self-fulfillment. When we do this, we also learn how to heal all our relationships, thereby experiencing inner peace and joy, and driving fear away.
