Features: Considering that candidates for exams prefer reading books that are easy to understand, concise, and lively, with a focus on using pictures to explain, communicate, and convey messages. Considering the common psychological desire of candidates to maximize learning quality within a limited time and avoid wasting study time. Considering the common problems of passive imitation in learning painting, superficiality or unnecessary individuality, and a lack of rational control. The author, thinking from the candidate's perspective, tries to compile the accumulated insights and experiences from daily teaching into a book for reference. The first step is to address two issues: observation and decomposition of actions.
Observation does not refer to vision in the literal sense. Because this kind of vision can be done by ordinary people; it is a basic visual activity of physiological function and biological attribute. It is generally limited to mechanical reproduction of the surface of objects, photographic-like snapshotting, and symbolic recording. Observation, on the other hand, is to use the brain to guide a pair of thoughtful, logical, and judgmental eyes to understand, express, and reveal the intrinsic laws of things, the spatial and morphological characteristics of specific objects, and their movement and changes in a self-realistic and reasonable way.
Decomposition of actions refers to dividing the comprehensive factors of painting and shaping into several units and steps for systematic training. This training method aims to improve candidates' clear, explicit, and rational understanding of the development and evolution process of painting and shaping, as well as their ability to actively express it.
