Features: This book is compiled to adapt to the increasingly developed trend of modern medicine, address the challenging issues of TCM treatment for acute conditions, and fill the deficiencies and irreversible sequelae caused by relying solely on Western medicine for acute conditions. It is based on the rich experience accumulated by generations of TCM practitioners through long-term medical practice, as well as relevant modern TCM research on acute conditions, combined with the authors' insights from treating such conditions. The book is divided into two parts. The first part is the General Theory, which primarily elaborates on the concept, characteristics, nature, status, and tasks of TCM emergency medicine, as well as the historical development of various acute conditions. It also discusses the etiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment, and care of TCM acute conditions. The second part is the Specific Theory, organized into five major series: comprehensive emergency care, internal medicine, orthopedics and surgery, gynecology and pediatrics, and other emergency conditions, covering over 10 disciplines. Each condition is described in detail, including name explanation, clinical manifestations, location, nature and severity, etiology and pathogenesis, diagnosis and differential diagnosis, emergency treatment, syndrome differentiation and treatment, prevention and care, selected case studies, and relevant excerpts from historical medical texts. Additionally, it provides an index of ancient and modern prescriptions and a list of key reference materials.
