Features: This standard was formulated in accordance with the arrangements of the original State Economic and Trade Commission's "Notice on Confirming the Plan for the Formulation and Revision of Power Industry Standards in 1998" (Power [1999] No. 40). With increasingly stringent requirements for environmental protection and the working environment of thermal power plants, as well as advancements in ash and slag removal technology and improvements in its technicality, functionality, and automation, the importance of ash and slag removal systems in thermal power plants has been fully recognized. Ensuring the safe and reliable operation of ash and slag removal systems has become a key production task for thermal power plants. This standard was developed based on research and summarization of operational experiences with both domestically produced and imported ash and slag removal systems. It proposes requirements for the operating modes, procedures, and fault diagnosis of ash and slag removal systems in thermal power plants, aiming to standardize their operation, ensuring that the systems can be safely, reliably, and economically put into operation. It also provides references and basic requirements for thermal power plants to formulate their own on-site operating procedures. Appendices A and B of this standard are informative. This standard was proposed by the China Electricity Council. This standard is under the jurisdiction of and is responsible for interpretation by the Power Industry Power Station Boiler Standard Technical Committee.
