Features: On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World War II against Fascism, we specially edited and published this commemorative series. The series features a mix of Chinese and foreign writers, primarily focusing on medium-length novels, supplemented by a few longer short stories. It artistically recreates the magnificent scenes of the Chinese people, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, fighting bravely against Japanese invaders more than 60 years ago, as well as the global people rising up to resist the atrocities of fascist warfare. At the same time, it truthfully and vividly exposes the inhuman cruelty and barbarity of the fascists, as well as the immense disasters brought to the Chinese people and people of all countries by that war. Justice will ultimately prevail over evil. Sixty years have passed since that dark chapter in human history. When peace and development have become the two major themes of the world's current progress, we should still learn from history, look toward the future, and strive tirelessly for world peace and human development, working to build a fairer and more rational new international political and economic order. This is also the original intention behind our editing and publishing of this series.
