Features: Mozart is a typical composer of the classical music school, known as one of the three great composers of the Vienna Classical School alongside Haydn and Beethoven. Born on January 27, 1756, in Salzburg, Austria, to a court musician family, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart showed exceptional musical talent from a young age and learned music under his father's guidance. Starting in 1762, at the age of six, Mozart and his 10-year-old sister, Nannerl, began touring across the European continent under their father's leadership. They traveled to Munich, Frankfurt, Bonn, Vienna, Paris, London, Milan, Bologna, Florence, Naples, Rome, Amsterdam, and many other places, causing a sensation wherever they went! In Vienna, the capital of Austria, they were invited to perform in the imperial palace by the emperor. In 1772, at the age of 16, Mozart finally ended his decade-long touring life and returned to his hometown of Salzburg, where he became the principal musician in the archbishop's court orchestra. Due to his dissatisfaction with the archbishop's strict discipline, this unstable employment relationship ended in 1781, and Mozart boldly decided to live independently in Vienna, embarking on the difficult path of a freelance musician. Mozart's effortless and rapid composition style led his contemporaries and successors to view him as a self-taught, unlearned genius. Throughout his life, apart from his rigorous training during his childhood under his father's guidance, he never received formal musical instruction. While genius is undeniable, people often overlook the fact that it also relies on hard work and diligence. Mozart once said, "People think my art came effortlessly. In reality, no one has spent as much time and thought on composing as I have; no masterpiece of a renowned composer has not been studied diligently by me." In 1791, Mozart died in Vienna, impoverished and ill, at the young age of 35. Mozart's main representative works include: 22 operas, famous for The Marriage of Figaro, Don Giovanni, and The Magic Flute; 41 symphonies, famous for Symphonies No. 39, 40, and 41; 27 piano concertos, famous for Piano Concertos No. 20, 21, 23, 24, 26, and 27; 6 violin concertos, famous for Violin Concertos No. 4 and 5; and numerous instrumental and vocal works of various genres.
