Features: China is a unified multi-ethnic country. The Han ethnic group and all minority ethnic groups have long worked, lived, and multiplied on this vast land, making outstanding contributions in the struggle to build our great motherland. Since the founding of the country, the Party's ethnic policies have been continuously publicized through various channels, introducing the significant changes that have taken place among all ethnic groups since liberation. In the new situation, to help a broad readership gain a more comprehensive and systematic understanding of China's minority ethnic groups, our publishing house has decided to publish a series of "Ethnic Knowledge Series" in an ongoing manner, primarily featuring text with appropriately included photographs that reflect the characteristics of minority ethnic groups.
