When we were little, we were all raised on our mother's milk. Puppies, lambs, calves, and kittens were raised this way, but chicks were different—they ate the small insects their mother found. As we grew older, our mother's milk became less and less. To grow up strong and healthy, we had to find our own food, nutritious food. Chicks began eating the insects their mother pecked and gradually learned to peck for themselves; lambs and calves started drinking their mother's milk and slowly began eating green grass; puppies started drinking their mother's milk and gradually started eating some vegetable juice, rice porridge, and meat bones. Kittens, especially, are like our babies and need nutritious foods like liver and fish. Little babies are also growing day by day and must eat more nutritious foods. Through this simple story, children can learn the names of several animals and foods, understanding that to grow up strong and healthy, they must enjoy all kinds of food.
