Features: In this volume, the Tyrannosaurus Rex makes its debut. Tyrannosaurus Rex is often perceived as a ruthless creature, but I will show you its gentle side, which is sure to surprise you. In 1990, in South Dakota, USA, a massive Tyrannosaurus Rex fossil was discovered. This fossil measured 13 meters in length and was, at the time, the world's largest complete Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton. However, what is truly astonishing is not just its size, but the healed fracture marks on its legs. For a dinosaur like the Tyrannosaurus Rex, which supports its heavy body on two legs, a broken leg would mean immobility and likely death. But why was it able to survive until the fracture healed? Experts believe it may have been because other members of the Tyrannosaurus Rex family continuously provided food and care for the injured dinosaur until it fully recovered. In fact, even ruthless Tyrannosaurus Rexes understand the concept of "family bonds" as humans do, and they are closely connected by this unbreakable sense of family. On the other hand, the presence of Tyrannosaurus Rexes helped prevent the overpopulation of herbivorous dinosaurs, which could have led to the desertification of forests and grasslands. More broadly, they maintained ecological balance.
