Features: When I crossed the Eurasian continent and arrived in the unfamiliar Germany, I realized that the dream of studying abroad was not as colorful as I had imagined. Far from the agricultural union and without friends to rely on, I had to face everything myself. At the age of eighteen, I felt helpless. I discovered that I had to grow up and learn to face challenges without protection or reliance. In the face of competition and challenges, I no longer felt lost or confused. A confidence I had never experienced before began to grow and strengthen in adversity. The abilities of Chinese students are no worse than those of Western students. As long as we dare to face challenges, even in Germany, a place full of talented individuals, we can still achieve excellence. Personal growth requires a process. Crossing borders to face competition is the starting point for every international student on the path to maturity.
