Features: In an open macroeconomic environment, China is gradually integrating into the world economic system. Especially, our country has become a member of the World Trade Organization, and foreign economic and trade activities have become more frequent, which requires a large number of personnel who understand international economic and trade theories and are proficient in grasping and applying international trade rules. During the writing process of this book, the needs of both teachers and practitioners were fully considered. The book consists of 16 chapters. Chapters 1 to 4 introduce the theoretical part of international trade, including the basic theories of international trade, policies and measures of international trade, the global multilateral trade system, and regional economic integration. The theoretical elaboration provides a clear framework, analyzing the background of relevant trade policies and measures and the multilateral trade system, and introduces in detail the knowledge of the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) and the World Trade Organization (WTO), as well as the formation and development of regional economic integration that transcends national geographical boundaries. Chapters 5 to 14 focus on the practical part of international trade, emphasizing the practicality and standardization of foreign trade operations. Chapters 15 and 16 introduce new trade forms, such as technology and service trade, as well as their characteristics and development trends. This book is suitable for college and vocational school students majoring in economics, trade, and finance, as well as professionals in related fields. It can also serve as an elective textbook for non-economics majors and faculty, and as an introductory reading for other readers to systematically understand the basic knowledge of international trade.
