This book is the fifth volume, containing 12 units, each unit divided into three main parts: Listening and Speaking Activities, Reading Comprehension and Language Activities, and Extended Activities. To meet the special requirements of teacher education, this book attempts to incorporate teaching skill training into language training activities. The editors have integrated several important teaching skills into the language activities of each unit throughout the book. For example, "Presentation" is reflected in the discussions about retelling the text of each lesson, and "Classroom English" is reflected in the exercise instructions. Additionally, this book is specifically designed with a combination of point and surface language training exercises. The point training is demonstrated in the four concentrated phonetic training lessons attached at the end of the book, while the surface training is reflected in the phonetic exercises of each lesson.
