According to the current situation of Japanese teaching in our country, as well as the needs of the Japanese Proficiency Tests for Higher Education (Level 4 and 8) and the Japanese Language Proficiency Test conducted by the Japan International Education Association and the Japan Foundation in China, we have compiled this book based on the Japanese grammar scope specified in the "Teaching Syllabus for the Basic Stage of Japanese Major in Higher Education" and the "Teaching Syllabus for the Advanced Stage of Japanese Major in Higher Education" compiled by the Japanese Group of the Advisory Committee on Foreign Language Specialty Teaching of Higher Education.
This book strives to introduce the latest achievements in Japanese grammar, but considering the actual situation of Japanese teaching in our country, some expressions still follow standardized grammatical views to avoid confusion.
To standardize terminology, all Japanese terms corresponding to Chinese terms in the book are based on China's standardized terminology names, and Japanese-style terms are used as little as possible.
To better illustrate the points, we provide a certain number of examples after each grammatical explanation. In principle, all examples include translations, but if an example is inappropriate, incorrect, or unnatural, the translation is omitted.
