Features: World War II (1939–1945) – Historical Materials. This book compiles 53 letters written by anti-Fascist fighters in Germany during World War II before their execution. These are the voices of anti-Fascist martyrs who spontaneously opposed Nazi Germany! This is a call for justice, a call for noble humanity, and a heart-stirring call! What lies before the reader is not an ordinary book. It is a collection of letters written by German anti-Fascist underground fighters with blood and life more than half a century ago when darkness shrouded the entire European continent. These are the last calls issued by these anti-Fascist fighters to the world before their heroic sacrifice. It is a call for truth, a call for justice, and a call for battle. This is also a precious spiritual legacy left by the German anti-Fascist war for the progressive human race. As the 60th anniversary of the victory in the anti-Fascist war is approaching, reading this book is certainly meaningful. This book is selected from Letters to Those Who Live in the World—Letters of Resistance Movement Fighters, published in the 1950s in Leipzig, former East Germany, in a pocket-sized edition. The original book gathered letters from 178 anti-Fascist martyrs. The translator selected 53 of the most moving and representative letters from them and organized them into categories for easy reading by Chinese audiences. The category titles and the titles before each letter are added by the translator.
