Features: This revision maintains the original book's basic framework while striving to align with international classic textbooks in terms of content and form. In terms of form, we have added content summaries at the beginning of each chapter and review questions with related case studies at the end of each chapter. In terms of content, we aim to reflect the new developments in contemporary international trade, striving for novelty, emphasis on key points, accuracy in concepts, and conciseness. We hope this revision will be even more suitable for teaching needs. The book consists of 16 chapters, with Chapters 1–7 covering the principles of international trade, and Chapters 8–16 covering the practice of international trade. Teachers can use them separately or in combination as needed. The book is primarily intended for teaching in economics and management majors at universities and for MBA courses; it can also serve as supplementary material for international business and national foreign trade personnel training; it can also be used as a reference for economic and business administrators and personnel in business enterprises to understand comprehensive knowledge of international trade. The book comprehensively covers the basic content of international trade theory and practice. In addition to explaining traditional international trade theories, it focuses on the new developments in trade theories that emerged after World War II and the new developments in international economic and trade. It particularly delves into the multilateral trading system under the WTO framework, changes in transaction procedures and conditions, and e-commerce. It meets the needs of teaching and learning in economics and management.
