Features: The Summer Solstice Will Not Arrive unfolds the life of the new generation with a novel structure, humorous yet realistic, and delicate language. There is some loneliness, some sorrow, and a bit of pain. The Summer Solstice strives to give a perfect conclusion to a period of growth. When narrating, it is sometimes sharp, sometimes gentle, sometimes elegant, sometimes punk, sometimes poetic, and sometimes chaotic. Thus, all of it is completed in the last summer in a rushed manner. A novel filled with pain, numbness, love and hate, passion and collapse. The life of the left bank seems like a sexual act, or a hallucination after smoking clouds, or a feeling of being completely torn apart. It reveals the hidden melancholy and inner tremors of the new generation. The Summer Solstice, under the sun and trees, presents the joys and pains of growth on the path you have lost along the way. A boy named Zuo'an, with his bewildered eyes, sorrowful heart, and youth, feels the familiar yet strange complexities of the world. On Zuo'an, the confusion of youth is exposed, facing emotional life, revealing the inner monologue of emotional conflicts, ethereal language, and a clean sense. On the surface, it seeks various kinds of love, but in reality, it seeks growth, a growth that craves pain yet is extremely painful. Or perhaps it lacks the depth of a large-scale work, but its beauty is extraordinary. Beauty is a principle, like a beach that surges into the heart like a tide, recording all the laughter and tears of youth. From Zuo'an to Su Xing, Shen Qige, Ye Ye, Ouyang Jie, from Zhang Shize and Xie Qinqin's love, to Pang Jingxuan, Chen—, Dai Jingyue. Youth moves from encountering impulses to loneliness, sorrow.
