Features: The primary purpose of "100 Cases of" is to serve as a useful textbook for introductory courses on. Therefore, the editors requested the contributors not to focus on explanations but to provide students with materials for pre-reading and reflection. The book is organized into case summaries, key judgments, and annotations. Depending on the situation, some case summaries and key judgments retain the original English text, while annotations are designed to inspire students during their thinking and research.
As law has evolved to this point, the mutual borrowing between the civil law system and the system has become increasingly evident. This case collection is a compilation of 122 cases selected and commented upon in greater depth and extension by 52 Japanese legal scholars and lawyers. We have chosen to translate the recent third edition, as the selected cases may better represent the essence of, and we also hope to make it more convenient for readers in this region to access.
