Features: The North is vast, but the villages and tribes there are small. Tiejматan is a very small tribe. Located in the southwest of Changbai Mountain's Nangongkou in the northern part, along the Hongqi River, it is very close to the border of North Korea. The mountains, rivers, forests, and lakes are connected like a single garment, under the jurisdiction of Linjiang County. Tiejматан is not an ancient place name. Initially, it was called Huanshuitan. After Linjiang County was established, a hunter named Niuhé set up a pole here, and it was then named Tiejматан. This is a novel depicting a hunting family in Changbai Mountain. The story takes place after the lifting of the hunting ban in Changbai Mountain in the last century. Hunter Niuhé founded Tiejматan and clashed with a bandit group. Niuhé's daughter, Niucao'er, subdued the bandits and married the fierce bandit Huang Bao, turning Tiejматan into a true bandit den. Niuhé plotted against Huang Bao to protect the Niu family's legacy, forcing Huang Bao to rebel, kill Niuhé, and then be killed by Niucao'er. After Lu Shi married Niucao'er, he began his grand campaign to conquer Changbai Mountain. To become a formidable bandit leader, Lu Shi defeated a giant eagle, hunted in the mountains with his hunting dog Steel Tooth, fought wolves to save his master who was attacked by wolves, and became the "Wolf King," thus opening the curtain for the "Wolf War." Due to the birth of his son, Luniu, Niucao'er and Lu Shi's conflicts finally erupted, and Lu Shi left Tiejматan. With Lu Shi's departure, Tiejматan fell again. During the six years Lu Shi was away, Niucao'er took on a third man. To revitalize Tiejматan, Niucao'er spent ten years training her son, Luniu, into a true hunter. However, the true hunter of the Niu family and the most fierce bandit leader suddenly returned to Tiejматan after being missing for many years. To seize the position of head of Tiejматan, Niuzhuang hunted Niucao'er and took the woman of Luniu. The true hunter of the Niu family and the most fierce bandit leader began to clash.
