This book was developed based on the "Shipboard Auxiliary Machinery" textbook written by the Shipboard Auxiliary Machinery Teaching and Research Office of Naval University of Engineering since 1956, with the addition of new auxiliary machinery content, further refinement of the theoretical system, and compilation. The main ideas and viewpoints of this book were formed during the author's 16 years of teaching shipboard auxiliary machinery courses and were recognized by colleagues.
