Features: With the deepening development of the national basic education curriculum reform, the implementation scope of the "Curriculum Standards" for compulsory education is gradually expanding. New educational concepts are being accepted by an increasing number of educators and the public, and China's basic education is undergoing profound changes. The core of this transformation, for teachers, is to change their role orientation; for students, it is to transform their learning methods. In line with this spirit and to adapt to the further development of curriculum reform, we made significant revisions for this reedition, based on extensive feedback from experts, teachers, students, and parents.
This book is guided by the new mathematics curriculum standards and is organized chapter by chapter according to the new textbook system. Its distinctive feature lies in explaining the key points, difficulties, doubts, and key examination points of each chapter in conjunction with the textbook. The content is detailed, well-structured, and thoroughly analyzed, with systematically selected examples covering a wide range of question types. The material primarily focuses on the fundamental knowledge, knowledge application, thinking methods, and problem-solving techniques that should be mastered in each unit. The analysis and treatment of examples are particularly well-executed, not only providing appropriate hints and standardized solutions but also including post-solution explanations. These explanations reflect the authors' insights and experiences in problem-solving, serving as a summary of their problem-solving expertise. Thus, it can be said that this book distills the essence of the authors' practical problem-solving experience.
In the explanations, the authors concisely reveal the thought process behind ingenious solutions, demonstrate the flexible application of mathematical methods, provide transformed or extended forms and solutions for problems that can be converted or generalized, and point out potential incorrect solutions. This will inspire students, help them understand the authors' intentions behind the questions, and enable them to grasp the fundamentals, focus on key points, overcome difficulties, study methods, and apply one problem to represent a category. Ultimately, this will help students achieve the ability to generalize from one example to many and think broadly, achieving the effect of moving beyond the sea of problems and awakening their minds.
The supplementary tests are designed to reinforce foundational knowledge, key points, and difficulties, as well as knowledge application, based on the characteristics of each chapter. They include commonly used question types from various regions, incorporate new questions reflecting recent trends in middle school and high school entrance exams and college entrance exams, and supplement application problems closely related to production and daily life. The question types are diverse and highly comprehensive, aiming to help students consolidate knowledge and improve their ability to apply it comprehensively.
While using this book, students should combine it with the textbook to master the various applications and precautions of key knowledge points. For certain key and difficult points, they should conduct careful analysis and research, referring to the examples to achieve a deep understanding and firm grasp. When working on the supplementary exercises, students should independently think through the problem-solving approach and strategy, first considering which method to choose, then implementing the solution while paying attention to its standardization. After completing the exercises, they should compare their answers with the provided solutions to understand why one answer is correct rather than another, why one method is better than another, and explore alternative solutions. They should also practice brainstorming from a single point of view. Additionally, after class, students should repeatedly reflect on, analyze, and summarize key problems. If they have questions, they should proactively ask and resolve them promptly.
Learning the "Curriculum Standards" and updating educational concepts is an ongoing process. The implementation of curriculum reform also requires continuous exploration and accumulation. The revision of this book is a concrete effort to learn the "Curriculum Standards" and reform teaching content and methods.
