Features: Congratulations on choosing this book. The last five sets of practice tests are designed to enhance your exam readiness. Therefore, please do not expect any significant breakthroughs in vocabulary, reading, listening, or other foundational areas in just the last five days. It's like a dress rehearsal before a battle—during these final days, what needs to be improved is the ability of different "corps" to coordinate their efforts.
When reviewing, students often prepare for each section separately, which is correct. However, if they don't simulate the exam experience by practicing a few mock tests before the actual test, they may develop weak spots in their "resistance." Many students find themselves exhausted and mentally drained by the second reading passage in the exam, feeling as though they're running out of "oxygen" and their minds go blank.
Therefore, for those aiming to pass the CET-4 exam in one go, please pay attention to the following points during practice:
- Start one week before the exam and do one set of practice tests every day.
- Take them at 9:00 a.m. every day to simulate the exam time strictly.
- Do not check the answers immediately after finishing. Wait until the evening.
- After checking the answers, do not jump straight to the explanations. Instead, think about where you went wrong and why.
- When reviewing the answers, also look at the questions you got right. If you can't recall why you chose that answer, it was likely just a guess, and you should study the explanations more carefully.
- Always write essays. After writing, have someone review and provide feedback, as doing it alone is ineffective.
Wishing you all success!
