Features: Currently, most universities adopt case-based teaching methods. However, among futures textbooks used in universities across the country, there are almost no futures cases, let alone a standalone collection of futures cases. Yet, futures is a highly practical course, and students cannot truly master it without extensive case studies. To complement the textbook Futures Investment I wrote for MBA, graduate, and advanced undergraduate students, I specifically compiled this Futures Investment Cases.
The futures market has developed for over a decade, but government administrators, industry leaders, corporate decision-makers, and even academic research institutions still have limited understanding of futures. Using real-life cases to help decision-makers, administrators, entrepreneurs, and academics accept, understand, and correctly recognize the functions of the futures market is one of the motivations for compiling this case collection. Additionally, the cases aim to help futures professionals or investors interested in futures recognize the risks and master the techniques of futures investment.
