Features: In the new economic era of the 21st century, the modernization of the textile dyeing and finishing industry requires equipping it with advanced science and technology. To this end, we have compiled this glossary, aiming to express its technical content and value from the perspectives of international high-tech technology, processes, equipment, and dyeing and chemical materials. This is to make due contributions in the long journey of striving to catch up with international advanced levels. The glossary includes compound words and abbreviations, totaling approximately 45,000 entries. The content primarily focuses on dyeing, finishing, printing (engraving), finishing processes; equipment; dyes and chemicals; color measurement and matching; environmental protection, etc. It also highlights the collection of high-tech terms developed in recent years, such as bioenzymes, ecological engineering, green engineering, functional treatments, digital microcomputer control, nanotechnology, plasma, microcapsules, etc. Among the dyes and auxiliaries, while retaining some common and widely used ones, the majority are newly developed varieties by foreign chemical companies in recent years, and they are environmentally friendly or easily biodegradable chemicals. The Chinese-English translation of the entries is correct, concise, and practical; some entries, in addition to the translation, also include necessary explanations.
