Features: Since the official publication of "Kite Competition Rules and Refereeing Methods" in 1990, it has played a positive role in standardizing kite competition work in China and promoting the development of the kite sport. In October 2000, the Refereeing Committee of the China Kite Association held a symposium on revising the kite rules in Shanghai. Committee members and coaches, a total of 20 experts, attended the meeting and proposed revisions. After the secretariat compiled the draft based on the suggestions, it was sent to relevant provincial and municipal kite associations as well as some referees and coaches for further comments. The secretariat then made revisions to the suggestions made by the experts.
