Features: When selecting works from Classical Piano Repertoire, the musical characteristics are our primary consideration, as they are the focus of student learning. When choosing musical pieces, it is important to pay attention to their inner meaning, so that students can quickly grasp the features, emotions, and personalities of each piece. Some works are widely recognized, while others may be less frequently heard, but through playing, they will also earn the appreciation of teachers and students. The selected musical works in these collections can be used as repertoire for solo and group competitions. All pieces in this book are based on the earliest available versions and are accompanied by fingerings. Teachers and students can make appropriate modifications to the fingerings based on the performer's. In some cases, primarily in Baroque period works, we have included performance indications and a few dynamic markings. Regarding the use of the pedal, it should be handled with caution. Due to acoustic considerations, the effect of using the pedal varies on each piano and in every hall, so we generally do not arbitrarily add pedal markings.
