Features: Aligned with the PETS syllabus requirements, passing the PETS Level 3 exam is equivalent to the graduation level of non-English majors in higher education self-study examinations or general universities. Candidates need to master approximately 4,000 words and related phrases. The purpose of this book is to help learners master the PETS Level 3 vocabulary. This vocabulary manual includes only PETS Level 3 words, excluding those of Levels 1 and 2, and is written according to the latest revised exam syllabus. It contains a total of approximately 2,053 words, divided into 30 days of study, with 68 words to be mastered each day. Each entry includes the word, phonetic transcription, part of speech, Chinese translation, and example sentences. Some entries also include collocations, synonyms, antonyms, distinctions, and usage notes. This format is designed because memorizing words through sentences and collocations is much more effective than rote memorization. This not only helps in recalling vocabulary but also enhances understanding, thereby better mastering the usage of words and realizing their value in language application. Additionally, after each day's vocabulary study, a set of exercises is provided to help candidates review the learned content.
