Features: This standard is formulated in accordance with Article 7 of the "Air Pollution Prevention and Control Law of the People's Republic of China." It is based on the gaseous emission section of the former "Trial Standard for the Discharge of Industrial 'Three Wastes'" (GBJ4-73) and relevant other national air pollutant discharge standards for specific industries. In terms of technical content, this standard has a certain inheritance relationship with the original standards, but also includes significant modifications and changes. This standard specifies the emission limits for 33 air pollutants, with an indicator system of maximum allowable concentration, maximum allowable emission rate, and unorganized emission monitoring concentration limits. In addition to this comprehensive discharge standard, the state has several industry-specific discharge standards in place for air pollutant control. Specifically, certain industries implement their respective industry-specific national air pollutant discharge standards, while the rest adhere to this standard. This standard took effect on January 1, 1997. The gaseous emission sections of the following standards are replaced by this standard and shall be abolished upon its implementation.
GBJ4-73 Industrial "Three Wastes" Discharge Trial Standard
