Features: Children, welcome to the colorful world of folk fairy tales. Here, you will meet the beautiful and pure Sunshine Princess, the kind and hardworking "Duck Buttocks," the treacherous and evil Queen, the hypocritical and cruel Count, as well as magical oil lamps, flying carpets, magic wands, and beautiful little red flowers. These stories always tell about beautiful love, friendship, and family, and they always tell how justice will ultimately triumph over evil. The world of fairy tales is endless, and every nation has its own beautiful legends. From these wonderful stories, we have selected a portion to compile this series—The World Folk Fairy Tale Series, including: European Folk Fairy Tales, Asian Folk Fairy Tales, Arabian Folk Tales, Indian Folk Legends, Russian Folk Fables, and more. To make this World Folk Fairy Tale Series a storybook loved by all children, to truly understand the customs and cultures of other regions of the world through reading these stories, to inspire interest in Chinese language reading, and to broaden horizons, we have preserved the ethnic and linguistic characteristics of the stories, hoping they will be presented more vividly before everyone. The European Folk Fairy Tales you are now reading have been selected from The Coloured Fairy Books by the renowned British writer and poet Andrew Lang. The Coloured Fairy Books is the foundation of all European folk fairy tales, containing a large number of folk legends and fairy tales from Norway, England, and other parts of Europe. Classic stories like The Twelve Dancing Princesses and The Master Thief are not only familiar to readers but have also been adapted into films multiple times.
