The author biographies section features over 3,500 writers found in Complete Tang Poems and Supplement to Complete Tang Poems, covering most known Tang and Five Dynasties authors to date. It also includes authors mistakenly included in Complete Tang Poems from before the Tang era or after the Five Dynasties, as well as selected figures from the "Immortals," "Gods," "Ghosts," "Monsters," and "Dreams" sections. Variants of names, courtesy names, and aliases are generally listed as cross-references.
Based on extensive reading and in-depth research, we have also selected over 4,500 outstanding Tang poems and over 2,000 famous Tang verses, serving as valuable supplementary materials for appreciating and studying Tang poetry.
