Introduction This book is a specialized work on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) dermatology. It consists of two parts and fourteen chapters. The first part, General Theory, comprises five chapters, elaborating on the physiology, pathology, syndrome differentiation, treatment, and prevention of skin diseases from a TCM perspective. The second part, Specific Analysis, covers nine chapters, introducing the etiology, pathogenesis, clinical characteristics, differential diagnosis (summary), and syndrome differentiation and treatment of 128 skin diseases. The book adopts a regional classification method, dividing skin diseases into nine categories based on their common occurrence sites. Traditional TCM disease names are provided for each skin disease in chapters one to eight. For skin diseases common in modern clinical practice but not recorded in TCM literature, a Western medical disease name is used, and they are grouped under Chapter Nine. For the convenience of readers, a Western and TCM disease name (correspondence) and index are included at the end of the book. Additionally, the appendix details over 300 internal and topical herbal formulas. This book, while drawing on the valuable experiences of predecessors and incorporating the author's own medical practice and clinical insights, is guided by TCM theory, highlighting its distinctive features.
