Features: Japanese advertising poster design and layout design have developed alongside the American-style mass production and mass consumption economy. Layout design using computers has changed the traditional "hand-drawn layout mock-up" method. By printing layout samples on computers and sending them to clients for review and discussion, clients can visualize the final outcome, making it easier. Editing, modifying, and combining photos has become more flexible, and the necessity of designers' manual craftsmanship as a professional discipline has diminished. However, precisely because of this, designers have begun to experience a transition between the old and the new, which is a characteristic of Japanese layout design in recent years. Moving away from traditional sensibilities and combining diverse photographic techniques, image distortion and processing have become popular expressive methods. Images that have been processed have improved the quality of layout design, a trend that has already emerged in China. The designs of Hong Kong designer Chan Yuk-Cheung serve as proof of this.
