Features: In the late Eastern Han Dynasty, corruption in the court led to the rise of Yellow Turban rebellions across the land. Cao Cao, who rose to power by suppressing these rebels, gradually unified the northern region after years of warfare. He then marched southward, aiming to seize the opportunity to unify the entire nation. In the Battle of Red Cliffs, Cao Cao was decisively defeated by the alliance of Sun Quan and Liu Bei. From then on, the three states of Wei, Shu, and Wu emerged, establishing a triangular dominance. Soon after, Sun Quan killed Liu Bei's sworn brother Guan Yu and seized Jing Province. To avenge his friend, Liu Bei led his army to attack Wu but suffered a crushing defeat. Liu Bei died, and Zhuge Liang, as the Prime Minister, governed Shu under Liu Shan. Zhuge Liang subdued the southern barbarian tribes and adopted the strategy of allying with Wu to resist Wei. He launched six consecutive expeditions to Qishan to attack Wei but failed in all attempts. Zhuge Liang eventually died in the army. Shortly after, the Sima clan seized control of Wei and later overthrew both Shu and Wu, establishing Western Jin and unifying the entire nation.
