Features: With the increasing frequency of global interactions, English, as one of the primary languages in international communication, has become increasingly significant. It can be said that possessing strong English skills is essential to adapt to the pulse of the future world. To this end, we have compiled and published this series of "English for International Services" books, aiming to enable our foreign affairs personnel to communicate in English at a basic level and fully demonstrate their talents in their respective positions. The series is organized around different themes, with each theme further divided into various scenarios. Each scenario is divided into four parts: typical sentences, vocabulary and phrases, application examples, and alternative sentence patterns.
"Typical Sentences" provide 1-2 typical expressions for the scenario, along with introductions to the cultural background and usage context of these sentences. "Vocabulary and Phrases" list the new words and phrases used in the scenario dialogues for easy learning. "Application Examples" combine sentence patterns with scenarios, offering extensive conversational materials for readers to practice. The conversational materials are presented in both Chinese and English, making self-study very convenient. "Alternative Sentence Patterns" further extend the topic of the scenario, providing several different ways to express key sentences in the dialogue, enriching the language.
This series is comprehensive in its content, featuring fresh dialogue materials and representative scenarios. The language is concise, natural, and authentic, and is accompanied by audio tapes (or CDs), bringing endless fun to learners.
