Features: With the deepening development of educational reform, the Ministry of Education revised the "Teaching Syllabus for Chinese Language in Full-Time Junior High Schools under Compulsory Education" and the "Teaching Syllabus for Chinese Language in Full-Time Senior High Schools" comprehensively at the turn of the new century. According to the principles of the teaching syllabus, to strengthen students' quality-oriented education and improve their overall Chinese proficiency, 30 classic works were designated as must-reads for secondary school students. Although this number is not small, it is merely a tiny drop in the vast ocean of world culture spanning thousands of years. Despite this, it is almost unrealistic to expect all secondary school students to read all 30 works under the heavy academic load. In light of this, experienced teachers who deeply understand the needs and desires of secondary school students were invited to compile this "Introduction to Chinese and Foreign Classics." This book contains only 1/30 of the original works. In this way, secondary school students can casually flip through it during holidays, either gaining a glimpse of the whole picture or following the clues to understand the key points, achieving the goal of both getting a comprehensive overview and grasping the essentials with minimal time.
