Features: Most young learners of English have two common experiences: one is that small and medium-sized English-Chinese dictionaries often lack examples, or even none at all; the other is that many new words and meanings (including abbreviations) are difficult to find even in large dictionaries. This medium-sized dictionary from our publishing house is specifically compiled to address these two shortcomings. The greatest feature of this dictionary presented to readers is the abundance of examples. Not only does each definition of a word come with examples, but different forms of the same word also have their own examples. More practically, numerous phrases related to the word are also recorded with typical examples. Moreover, in most cases, these examples are not just "one sentence" but "multiple sentences." Taking "get" as an example, this book includes a total of 66 examples (including idiomatic usage). In medium-sized dictionaries, it would not be an exaggeration to say that it is "unique" or even "rare."
