Features: Preface Technicians are an important technical force active in the production lines of the electromechanical industry. They possess exquisite skills, a spirit of innovation, both fundamental theoretical knowledge and rich practical experience. They have always played a significant role in technological innovation, technological transformation, resolving various technical difficulties in production, and cultivating and leading technical workforces. With the deepening of reform and opening-up and the rapid development of the market economy, enterprises must continuously enhance their overall quality and improve their innovative capabilities to gain advantages in product quality, variety, and technical levels. Under this circumstances, the level and role of technicians are becoming increasingly prominent and are valued by relevant units. To better meet this need and provide convenience for technicians, we, led by Shenyang Heavy Machinery Plant, collaborated with relevant personnel from Northeast University, Northeast Oil Transportation Administration, Shenyang Sino-Japanese Friendship Factory, Shenyang Machine Tool Factory, Shenyang Pneumatic Tool Factory, and Shenyang Bridgestone Co., Ltd. to jointly compile this "Electrical Technician Handbook" for the reference and use of. This handbook is compiled based on the regulations for assessing technicians and combined with the characteristics of their work. The content focuses on practical needs on-site, emphasizing usability and problem-solving. From basic theory to applied technology, from substation and distribution to power consumption, from circuits to components, from industrial electrical equipment to household appliances, from testing technology to electronic technology, as well as energy-saving and safe power use, the handbook covers a comprehensive range of topics. It particularly highlights installation, debugging, operation, maintenance, and repair issues, while also providing detailed introductions to typical circuit diagrams of common equipment such as machine tools, cranes, and elevators to better illustrate the principle of learning by example. The entire handbook is a cohesive whole, with each section emphasizing "basic, common, key, and developmental" aspects. During the compilation process, systematic coordination, balance, and unification were carried out to ensure that the key points are prominent, the language is concise and clear, the content is easy to understand, and the handbook is convenient to reference. Currently, there are few books specifically for technicians, and this is our first attempt. During the compilation process, we received care, support, and assistance from many factories and experienced workers, for which we express our heartfelt gratitude. All the comrades who participated in the compilation have made great efforts, and we hope to have succeeded in producing a well-composed handbook.
