Features: Human life is only once, thin and concise, like a play that does not allow for rehearsals. This is the tragedy of humanity. However, there is some solace in reading the masters and entering the worlds they have built—you might as well experience some entirely different lives. And writing down the insights gained from reading has given rise to these two books: Fast Read of Foreign Literary Masters and Fast Read of Chinese Literary Masters. This is akin to a greedy diner, after tasting the unique dishes of a restaurant with distinctive flavors, feeling compelled to enthusiastically recommend it to more diners. The author now passionately recommends these masters to the dear readers—these deceased individuals who have become the stars above our heads may bring some light and warmth to our dim lives.
