Features: Human anatomy is an important basic medical course. With the advancement of science and technology in recent years, human anatomy has also made significant progress. It has always been our wish to compile a textbook that reflects the development of the discipline while maintaining strong scientific rigor, systematic organization, and readability. This textbook, written for 5-year medical undergraduates (also suitable for extended education programs), is the crystallization of collective wisdom from contributing authors from 12 institutions, including Capital Medical University and Peking University Health Science Center. Since this textbook is organized according to systemic anatomy, considering that many current human anatomy exams focus on systemic anatomy content, it has been named "Human Anatomy." One of the features of this textbook is its emphasis on readability. The entire book strives to highlight key points, present concise content, ensure fluent writing, and feature high-quality illustrations. The book is divided into 6 parts and 20 chapters, with nearly 500 illustrations. Each part includes a brief introductory section, and each chapter has a summary table. The second feature of this textbook is its emphasis on bilingual teaching. All figure captions, introductory sections, and some summary tables are in English, and an English index is provided at the end of the book. The third feature is the use of a two-color printing process. All illustrations and key terms in the book are printed in orange. The anatomical terminology in this book is primarily based on the "Terminology of Human Anatomy" published by the National Natural Science Terminology Commission in 1991. Common terms are presented in abbreviated forms, such as: a. for artery (), v. for vein (), n. for nerve (), m. for muscle (), and lig. for ligament (), etc.
