Features: Over the years, there has been an ever-increasing variety of teaching materials and supplementary books, creating a somewhat overwhelming situation often described as "the dazzling array of flowers gradually blinding the eyes." Adding to the pressure of passing exams, countless students are confused: How to choose a tool that will help them achieve twice the result with half the effort? How to break through the bottleneck in English learning and exams? This book is a new masterpiece launched by China Research & Development Press (Huayuan Foreign Languages), serving as a supplementary guide for the "New English Course," a key national-level textbook for general higher education under the "Nineth Five-Year Plan." It is written by experienced teachers from Shanghai International Studies University. The book remains completely faithful to the textbook, dedicated to helping students comprehensively improve their English skills. The structure and features of each unit are as follows:

At the end of each lesson, we have specially prepared this section to test learning outcomes. The "Derivative Word Practice" assesses the vocabulary learned in the unit, while the "Vocabulary and Grammar" questions are selected from actual exam papers. The "Cloze" exercises help improve readers' comprehensive language application skills. Answers are provided at the end of each section, making it easy for readers to self-assess and gain a sense of achievement.
11. Red Film Self-Test
