Features: Chinese characters are pictographic, so what about English words? I believe they are also pictographic. Theoretically, words are composed of letters, and their meanings naturally come from the letters. But where do the meanings of letters come from? Obviously, they cannot fall from the sky; they can only originate from nature, meaning they are pictographic symbols. Practically, words are difficult to remember because people have been trapped in a huge misconception: they have never paid attention to the meanings of letters, completely forgetting that letters have meaning, thus artificially severing the intrinsic connections between words, making originally simple and clear vocabulary obscure and confusing. Words are derived from relatively fixed morphological units. Understanding one word allows you to recognize many of its derivatives at the same time. This book discovers and highlights the intrinsic connections between words, proposes the concept of "morpheme," and helps English learners remember words through understanding, significantly improving memory efficiency.
