Features: Chinese Made Easy is a Chinese language textbook written for Japanese high school students, belonging to the National HSK Planning Curriculum. This textbook can also be used by other Japanese students who are beginners in learning Chinese.
I. Principles of Compilation
This textbook follows the principle of combining "structure—function—culture" during its compilation, with basic Chinese grammar structures as the main thread, integrating communicative functions and cultural projects, with daily conversations and cultural knowledge as the primary content.
II. Characteristics of the Textbook
1. Emphasis on Scientific Rigor and Systematicity
This textbook primarily references the Outline of HSK Vocabulary (compiled by the Office of the National HSK Teaching Steering Committee and the HSK Department of Beijing Language and Culture University Press, 1992) and the Outline of HSK Level Standards (Trial Edition) (compiled by the Research Group of HSK Level Standards of the China Association of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages and Beijing Language and Culture University Press, 1996), among other latest research findings. Additionally, it incorporates materials used by Japanese high school and university students in learning Chinese. The grammar points in this textbook are arranged following the principle of progressing from easy to difficult and from simple to complex.
2. Striving to Increase Repetition Rate and Strengthen Student Practice
This textbook pays attention to the repetition rate of grammar points and vocabulary. The book consists of 25 lessons, targeting students with zero prior knowledge, with content primarily focused on simple conversations related to students' daily lives, excluding phonetics.
