Author Introduction: Dr. Guo Yuanxiang is a professor and the director of the Curriculum and Instruction Department at the School of Educational Sciences, Central China Normal University. He is also a member of the Expert Group for the Basic Education Curriculum Reform under the Ministry of Education. In the past five years, he has conducted experimental reforms in new life education and subjectivity education in primary and secondary schools. He has led research projects such as the Ministry of Education's Humanities and Social Sciences "Fifteenth Five-Year Plan" project "Research on the Transformation of Learning Methods and the Development of Students' Practical Abilities" and the Ministry of Education's major research project on the "Research and Design of Comprehensive Practical Activities in the Compulsory Education Stage." As one of the lead researchers of the comprehensive practical activity project team, he has been involved in the development and experimental research of the "Guiding Outline for Comprehensive Practical Activities." Dr. Guo has published five books, including "Life and Education," "The Theory and Practice of Subjectivity Education," "The Design and Implementation of Activity Curriculum in Primary Schools," "Comprehensive Practical Activity Curriculum: Design and Implementation," and "Educational Logic." He has also published articles such as "Reconstructing Classroom Life" and "On Curriculum" in journals such as "Educational Research" and "Curriculum, Textbooks & Methodology."
