Features: To facilitate standardized workers in grasping the content of standards in a timely and accurate manner, under the arrangement of the National Standardization Administration of China, we organized the main drafters of the standards to compile this textbook. Currently, China has joined the World Trade Organization, to adapt to this new situation and fulfill the commitment to ensure that China's standards comply with the "Technical Barriers to Trade Agreement (TBT)," this textbook attempts to introduce how to write standards from the perspective of a market economy, focusing on how to write trade-oriented standards. Therefore, the chapters of this textbook first introduce how to make our standards comply with the "Technical Barriers to Trade Agreement (TBT)." Then, after introducing the basic rules for writing standards, the structure and hierarchy of standards, it explains how to write standards in the order of drafting a standard: first, write the core content of the standard, then write other normative elements outside the core content, and finally, explain the writing of elements outside the main text in the order of drafting. The content explained in this book has the following characteristics: it addresses practical issues encountered in the implementation of GB/T1.1-2000; incorporates relevant content from the published parts of GB/T20000 and GB/T20001; and strives to provide relevant examples or cases to enhance operability. In addition, after the release of the Standard Writing Template (TDS1.0), it was well-received by standardized workers, and we have also received many suggestions for improvement. Therefore, the China Standard Research Center has developed the Standard Writing Template (TDS2.0) (see the attached CD-ROM in this book). This book is published simultaneously with the TDS2.0 software and GB/T1.2-2002, which will greatly facilitate and meet the needs of standard drafters and revisers, standard administrators, as well as engineering and technical personnel in enterprises that use and implement various types of standards. This book first introduces how to make standards comply with the requirements of the "Technical Barriers to Trade Agreement (TBT)," then explains that the core content of the standard should be written first, followed by other normative elements, and finally, it explains the writing of elements outside the main text.
