Features: This bibliography includes 18,485 Chinese journals. The time period covers 1868 to September 1949, the modern Chinese era. It is divided into two parts: the main bibliography and the index. The main bibliography is arranged alphabetically by journal title. The alphabetical arrangement follows the rules of the "Total List of Simplified Characters" issued by the State Council of the People's Republic of China in October 1986 and revised by the National Language Commission. The index section consists of a subject word category index, a place of publication index, and an index of personal contributors.
