Features: This book collects some articles and selected speeches written in the past, organizing and narrating the journey I have experienced. I would be very pleased if it sparks the interest of people concerned with international exchange and those thinking about the future of their own countries. For women of my generation who have completed the stage of raising children and their children, if you can understand the benefits of establishing peaceful cultures with countries across the sea and appreciate the joy of your own traditional way of life, I would feel truly heartened. Over more than two decades, I have continuously engaged in exchanges with many individuals, hoping to establish a culture of peace in various countries around the world. Especially in China, the films I directed achieved historic success, which allowed me to collaborate with people from all walks of life in various forms, contributing my modest efforts to promoting cultural exchange between Japan and China. Today, the results of all I have done are graduallying, leaving clear traces between the two countries.
