On the basis of continuously improving interest in history, students will learn to understand and analyze historical figures from a historical perspective, objectively evaluate their roles, and thus correctly grasp the relationship between individuals and society, as well as between individuals and history. This will help establish an attitude of seeking truth, being proactive, being diligent in exploration, and daring to innovate, so as to continuously strive for the construction of socialist modernization in China and the cause of peace and progress for humanity.
So, how should we study this senior high school history elective course? Here, we will introduce the basic structure and format of this textbook:
The main structure of the senior high school history textbook is designed in the form of learning modules. This textbook contains six learning modules. Each learning module consists of three parts: Module Introduction, Learning Content, and Module Learning Archive.
The Module Introduction includes two sections: Introduction and Learning Suggestions. It mainly introduces the purpose, basic outline, and key points of the module, as well as provides some suggestions on learning methods.
Learning Content is the core of the module. Each learning module contains 2-8 learning contents. Each learning content has 3-5 sub-topics, with thought-provoking prompts and explanatory charts or tables related to the historical content inserted in the text. After the main text, there are sections such as Self-Assessment, Material Reading and Reflection, and Knowledge Links.
The Module Learning Archive includes key points summary, gains and doubts, learning evaluation, and learning activity records. It provides some convenience for organizing knowledge and inspiring reflection.
To cultivate students' interest and ability in exploring historical issues, the textbook also includes three learning and exploration lessons at the end. Under the guidance of teachers, students can actively engage in hands-on and brain-based activities, collect materials, and carry out exploratory activities.
